Vision

The Children's Centre will provide a range of services focussed on local need and parental choice. Our aim is for the centre to offer information, advice and support to parents, as well as integrated childcare and early learning, health services, family support, parental outreach and employment advice for families in our area. Services we will offer will aim to meet the needs of the community and become embedded mainstream community services, which are developed with the active involvement of parents and the local community.

We will work with other agencies in the locality collaborating to meet the needs of families and children. Our Children's Centre will also provide an opportunity to work in partnership with many services for example: providing an opportunity to work with health services to establish a preventative approach which ensures that the foundations of good health are laid down early.

In the long term this should result in the effective and seamless delivery of care and education, community learning, and health services that are child and family focused and locally accessible. Our service will be organised with an emphasis on early intervention.
